Paper models you print, cut and fold at home.
Pick a design, print it on thick paper and follow the numbers. Making it feels like the afternoons you spent crafting as a kid, and the model you finish is yours to keep.
How it works
No experience needed
Every piece is printed with its fold lines and numbers, so you always know what comes next. Picture-by-picture instructions come with every design.

Our studio
Where art meets engineering
Makeitpaper is a small team of designers and engineers who fell for papercraft and never got over it. A flat sheet turning into something you can hold still delights us.
-
Designed and engineered
Our designers decide how it should look. Our engineers model it in 3D and work out how a flat sheet folds into it.
-
Built by hand, many times
Every model is cut, folded and rebuilt at our own table until each fold falls into place.
-
Care in every fold
We fuss over details nobody asked for, like a flap that sits flush or an edge that meets exactly.

I've started so many hobbies and given up on every one of them, so I didn't expect much. Sat down after dinner to do a few pieces and when I looked up it was midnight. Best money I've spent all month.
Put it on my desk at work and three people have asked where I bought it. Nobody believes it's paper.
Honestly the most relaxing evening I've had in ages. Phone in the other room, just me, some paper and a bit of music.
Took me longer than I thought, but when it was done I couldn't believe I'd made it myself.
A couple of the small tabs had me swearing a bit, not going to lie. Finished it anyway and I've already bought my next one.
