Privacy policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Inspireways (“we” or “us”) collects when you use https://makeitpaper.com, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

It applies to everyone who uses the site, wherever you live. Please read it together with our terms of service.

1. In short

We built this shop to keep as little information about you as we can.

  • There are no accounts. You never make a password, so we have none to store or lose.
  • We never see your card number or bank details. You type them into the payment company’s own form, not ours.
  • We ask for your name and email, and nothing else. We never need a postal address or phone number, because nothing is posted to you.
  • We never follow you around the site. We count page views and loading speed without knowing who you are, and set no cookies to do it.
  • We never sell your information to anyone.

2. What we collect

  • Your name and email address, which you type at checkout. Your email is how we send your receipt and how you get back to your downloads later. Your name is printed on your receipt.
  • Your order. What you bought, the price, the currency, the date, our order number and the payment company’s transaction number.
  • How you paid, in short form. The payment company tells us the type of payment, for example “Visa ending 4242” or “UPI”. We use it on your receipt and when we help you with a payment question. We never receive the full card number.
  • Where you came from. If you arrived from another website or from a link with a tracking tag (for example from a social media site), we save the name of that website or tag with your order. This tells us which places bring us customers. It is never used to work out who you are.
  • Your downloads. For each file you bought, we count how many times you downloaded it and save the first and last time. This helps us with support questions, and shows us if a link is being shared.
  • Links we email you. We save when we last emailed you a link to your purchases, how many we have sent, and a time used to switch off older links.
  • Reviews you write. Your star rating, your words, any photos you add, and the short form of your name shown with the review. See section 6.
  • Emails you send us. We keep your message and our reply for as long as we need them to help you.
  • Page views and loading speed. Our hosting company, Cloudflare, counts which pages are viewed, which website a visit came from, the country, the type of device and browser, and how fast each page loaded, using its Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, saves nothing in your browser, and does not identify you or follow you to other websites. We only ever see totals, never one person’s visits.
  • Basic technical information. Like every website, ours receives your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. Our hosting company uses this to deliver pages and to block attacks. We also use your IP address once, on your first visit, to find which country you are in so we can show prices in your currency. We do not store your IP address or your country. We only save the currency in your browser.

When you press Pay, we also send ourselves a private message with your name, email and the items in your cart. We use it to spot problems at checkout. This happens even if you do not finish paying.

3. What we never collect

  • Card numbers, security codes, expiry dates, UPI IDs or bank account details.
  • Passwords. There are no accounts here.
  • Your postal address, phone number or date of birth.
  • Government ID numbers or identity documents.
  • Your exact location.

Please do not send us sensitive information, such as health details, by email.

4. How we use it

  • To take your payment and check that it went through.
  • To send your receipt, and to email you a link to your purchases when you ask for one.
  • To check that an email address owns a design before we let it download the files.
  • To keep your purchases available to you for as long as the shop exists.
  • To answer your questions and handle refund requests under our refund policy.
  • After an order, we may email you to ask how your model turned out and whether you would like to write a review. We do not send newsletters or sales emails.
  • To find and stop fraud, abuse and shared links.
  • To keep the records that tax and accounting law require.
  • To keep the site working, safe and up to date.

We do not use your information to make automatic decisions about you that have legal or similar effects.

5. Our legal reasons for using it

Some laws ask us to name the legal reason for each use. Ours are:

  • To carry out our contract with you: taking your order, delivering your files, keeping them available and helping you.
  • Our legitimate interests: keeping the site safe, stopping fraud, learning which places bring us customers and asking for reviews. We only do this where it does not outweigh your rights.
  • Legal duty: keeping records of payments for tax and accounting.
  • Your consent: where you give it, for example when you publish a review. You can take it back at any time.

6. Reviews

After you buy, you can write a review on your purchases page. It can have stars, words and up to three photos.

  • Your photos are made smaller in your browser before they are sent to us. This also removes hidden details stored inside a photo, such as the place it was taken.
  • We read every review before it goes on the site. Until then, nobody else can see it.
  • When a review is published, it shows your first name and the first letter of your last name, for example “Priya S.”. Your email address is never shown.
  • You can change your review at any time from your purchases page. To have it removed, email us.

7. Who else sees your information

We share only what each company needs to do its job for us. They are not allowed to use it for anything else.

  • Our hosting provider runs the site, our database and the files you buy. It also finds your country for currency, and runs the check that stops automated attacks on our forms.
  • Payment providers take your payment. We send the one you choose your name, your email and the items you are buying. Your payment details are covered by that provider’s own privacy policy, which you can read on its payment page.
  • Our email service delivers our emails to you.
  • A messaging app carries the private messages we send ourselves about checkouts, orders, failed payments and new reviews. These include your name, email and what you bought. Only we can read them.
  • An advertising platform, only if we have turned on ad measurement. See section 9.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our customers or the public from fraud, or to enforce our terms. If the business is ever sold, your order records would move to the new owner so that you keep your downloads, and this policy would still apply.

8. Cookies and storage in your browser

We do not set any cookies ourselves, and neither does the page counting described in section 2. The site does save a few small things in your browser’s own storage. They stay on your device:

  • The designs in your cart.
  • The currency you see prices in.
  • Your name and email from checkout, so the form is filled in next time.
  • The link that opened your purchases page, so “My purchases” opens straight away while the link still works (24 hours, or 7 days for a link in a review request).
  • When you last asked us for a link, so the page can show when you can ask again.
  • The website or tag that brought you here, until you buy.
  • Whether you prefer centimetres or inches.

Sign out on your purchases page removes your name, email and link from this browser, and switches off every link we have emailed you.

Other companies may set cookies in a few cases: the check that stops automated attacks on our forms, ad measurement (if turned on), and the payment companies on their own pages.

You can clear all of this in your browser settings at any time. Your purchases are tied to your email address, not your browser, so you will not lose them.

9. Ad measurement

We may use an advertising platform’s tag to learn whether our ads on that platform work. When it is turned on, it tells the platform when a page was viewed, when a design was added to a cart and when an order was paid, with the design, the price and the currency. The platform may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

  • We report paid orders from our server, and we scramble your email address first so that the platform never receives it in readable form.
  • The tag never runs on your purchases page, because the address of that page contains your private link.

You can limit this kind of tracking in your browser’s privacy settings or in the ad settings of the platform.

10. How long we keep it

We keep your order records for as long as the shop exists. Every purchase comes with lifetime access, and your order record is how we know your email owns a design years from now. We also keep payment records for as long as tax law requires.

  • Download counts and link records: as long as your orders.
  • Reviews: until you or we remove them.
  • Support emails: as long as they are useful for helping you.
  • Technical logs at our hosting company: a short time, under their own rules.

You can ask us to delete your order records. Before we do, we will remind you that this ends your access to everything you bought, and we cannot undo it. Where the law makes us keep a payment record, we keep only what it requires.

11. How we keep it safe

  • The whole site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
  • We hold no card details and no passwords, so neither can be stolen from us.
  • A download link is made only when you click Download, only after we check that your email owns the design, and it stops working after about 90 seconds.
  • The link to your purchases page works for 24 hours. Opening a new link switches off the older ones, and Sign out switches off all of them.
  • We limit how often links can be requested, and our forms are protected from automated attacks.

No website can promise perfect security. If a breach ever affects your information, we will act quickly and tell you, and the authorities, where the law requires it.

12. Information sent to other countries

The companies we work with run servers around the world, so your information may be handled outside your country. We only use companies that protect it with proper safeguards and contracts.

13. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • Show you the information we hold about you, and give you a copy.
  • Correct it, for example an email address with a typo.
  • Delete it, as explained in section 10.
  • Stop or limit some uses of it, or take back your consent.

You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

To ask for any of these, email support@makeitpaper.com from the email address you used to buy. There are no accounts, so that inbox is how we know the request is really from you. If you write from another address, we may ask for your order number first. We reply within 30 days, and it is free.

14. Extra rights in some places

European Union, EEA and United Kingdom: you can also ask for your information in a common file format, and complain to your national data protection authority. Our legal reasons are in section 5.

California: you have the right to know what we collect and why, to have it deleted or corrected, and to be treated the same if you use these rights. We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising, as California law defines those words.

India: under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can also name another person to use these rights for you if you die or become unable to, and you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not solve your complaint.

All of these work the same way: email support@makeitpaper.com.

15. Children

You must be at least 18 to buy from us, as our terms say. Children are welcome to make the models, but an adult should place the order. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.

16. Changes to this policy

If we change how the site works or the law changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change makes a real difference to how we handle your information, we will make it easy to notice.

17. Contact us
